Does this sound familiar?

Your JEDIAB* initiatives have created an environment of shaming and calling out in your organization.

You're met with polarization and fear when you try to bring others into social justice efforts.

You feel like you've gone as far as you can and are looking for new ways to deepen your impact.

You're struggling to understand the role of White people in the work of ending racism.
*Justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging.
It doesn't have to be this way.

When the kindness of my Arawakan ancestors was met with unspeakable inhumanity by Spanish colonizers, we proclaimed ourselves "tai" (good) "no" (people). And thus, we became known as Taino: Good people.
My purpose is to remind us all that we are good people. Yes, all humans are good. It's only unhealed hurt that keeps us from remembering and acting on our goodness. We can completely heal and return to who we've always been, grounded in goodness.
For the past 30 years, I've committed to my own healing so I can be an authentic companion and guide for people to move out of shame and guilt and into connection on a shared journey to end oppression.
I listen. I see you. I’m here to remind you even when you can’t remember you are good. I am not confused by how your hurts show up—even when you might be. While only you can do your healing, I’m committed to staying with you in the journey—no matter how non-linear, rocky, or unclear the path ahead might look.
When we break the isolation, we can more fully live into our purpose. When we heal, we can finally end oppression and build a just world for all.
